A RACE AROUND THE WORLD

I Like You 1.0

Sounds official. Am I right? The I Like You Graphik electro-portfolio is now up and running. All lovingly illustrated with ones, zeroes, and complicated nerd jargon.

Special thanks to Chris Teso, technobully/flash resource library.

ROAD TO BIGLOW (BONUS EDITION)

Bird v. Clouds

This was the original sketch for the birds that appear at the end of the Road To Biglow story. The pink clouds didn't make it for some reason.

Partly because carbon dioxide isn't pink.

And even in its most concentrated state, gas doesn't eat birds.

That and politics. It's all politics.

RUN HAPPY

HISTORY

In the winter of 1912, a pair of geniuses sparked a movement in modern art simply by pasting paper to canvas. Pablo Picasso and Geroges Braque sought to emphasize the flatness of the painted surface. What they created (Synthetic Cubism) destroyed three-dimensional space by using using printed or colored paper to allude to an object within a composition. These objects were rarely (okay, never) running shoes.

The much-less-historically-important use of collage techniques below were created for the 2008 Brooks "Run Happy" campaign. Thrift store postcards, clip art books, Arizona Highways magazines. A ton of work, all completed at NORTH in collaboration with writers Nick Carter & Jim Carey.
